ABOUT THIS POSITION

Our maintenance department serves as an ongoing resource for protecting and developing our client's property investments, ensuring their outdoor spaces continue to flourish and fulfill their lifestyle needs over time. Rather this routine maintenance, we take a different approach - we partner with clients to manage their often complex properties, collaborating and communicating with multiple stakeholders to deliver extensive services well beyond a traditional landscaper's capabilities. Our landscape account managers are responsible for continual assessment of our client's needs, providing clear and consistent communication to develop a positive personal relationship, and exceeding expectations through quality of care and resulting landscape appearance.

ABOUT YOU

We are looking for someone with a working knowledge of landscape
management practices and horticultural knowledge specific to our region to step
into the role of Junior Account Manager to aid in client communications, estimating,
sales, management, and quality control for assigned maintenance properties. This is an entry level position with growth clearly defined to support advancement through on the job training, mentorship, certifications, and paid professional development opportunities.

This position entails time spent in the office on weekly administrative tasks needed for
developing maintenance schedule and activities for assigned properties, estimating for enhancements, client communication, and work ticket management, as well as time in the field managing maintenance activities and enhancements with our field crews. Each day is different with flexibility in terms of schedule. Our team is collaborative with opportunities for mentorship and continued education focused on both personal and professional growth.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Overseeing client contracts and budgets throughout the year with regular reporting.

  • Maintaining positive personal relationships with clients.

  • Communicating with clients on services, scheduling, invoicing, issues & solutions.

  • Recommending and developing estimates for enhancements to continually improve the beauty and functionality of our client's properties.

  • Managing project sequence, schedule, and materials needs.

  • Directing field crews in morning meetings as well as on site to ensure proper execution, clear expectations, high productivity, and consistent quality.

  • Following up to inspect sites to ensure expectations are met after work is performed.

  • Leading regular crew training opportunities to develop knowledge and positive team culture.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Working knowledge of regional plant material, horticultural practices, seasonal landscape activities, and irrigation system management with the willingness to continue to grow.

  • Comfortable working in a collaborative environment.

  • Committed to hard work, craftsmanship, and exceptional customer service.

  • Exceptional communicator with strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.

  • Technologically proficient with ability to quickly learn and master new software applications.

  • Strong organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail.
