Overview
Situated on a five acre peninsula in Cross Pines Ranch, this luxurious retreat is part of a conservation easement protecting dense stands of pines, placid lakes, and expansive views, all of which capture the essence of East Texas living. Here the Dobrient family, who live in Dallas, envisioned creating a weekend getaway where their family could enjoy the outdoors while spending quality time together.
As part of a prestigious project team including nationally recognized Lake Flato Architects, award winning Landscape Architects Hocker Design Group, and luxury home builder Don Romer, Landvisions worked collaboratively to bring the Dobrient family’s vision from idea to reality.
Board Formed Concrete Walls is the process of patterning concrete, leaving a wood grain texture on the exposed surface. This method is extremely well-suited as a finish material for modern design projects.

The Aegean pool was realized as an extension of the linear architectural footprint, with a strong connection to both indoor and outdoor living spaces. Responding to the elevation change of the site, allowed for a 80’ perimeter overflow edge which magically carries your curiosity to the lake edge below.
